Serial Experiments Lain is a Japanese anime television series created and co-produced by Yasuyuki Ueda, written by Chiaki J. Konaka and directed by Ryūtarō Nakamura. Animated by Triangle Staff and featuring original character designs by Yoshitoshi Abe, the series was broadcast for 13 episodes on TV Tokyo and its affiliates from July to September 1998. The series follows Lain Iwakura, an adolescent girl in suburban Japan, and her relation to the Wired, a global communications network similar to the internet.

My thoughts on Serial Experiments Lain!
I really wanted to watch this anime cause i saw this anime is everywhere on instagram, so i just started watching it as well about this anime is kinda creepy some scenes and terifying too (like showing suicide, gore and others in some scenes from episodes) (especially the playstation game it's very creepy that i saw some cutscenes on youtube). I understand everything about that happened about Lain, that she wants to exist but also i felt bad about her too.. actually this anime gots me again trauma like Neon Genesis Evangelion also i cried in the last episode (especially the one scene when Wired Lain meets Lain). Also i love in an one episode shows mentinoned some things like "memex" for example which i search that on wikipedia what is memex and the others about while i was watching through the episode lol i really wanted to know about some things. Anyways, i love the opening sm it would be the best anime openings also with Neon Genesis Evangelion too i listen it everytime on spotify. About the quotes which i heard from edits, sounds etc like "No matter where you are, everyone is always connected." and "Why are you crying, Lain? Because you deleted yourself from everyone's memory? But, Lain, isn't that what you wanted all along?".
I knew that i said before there's a game on playstation which the game is so creepy fr... which i'm gonna show the cutscenes below also please TW!!
